This is a science fiction story depicting a battle between the "rocket-man" Ambassador Magma created by "Earth" (the creator of the earth), and evil spaceman Goa. Newspaper writer Murakami Atsushi and his family wake up one morning to find they have travelled 200 million years back in time. Looking out their window they see dinosaurs were walking around outside their house. This is, in fact, the work of a spaceman named Goa, who sent them back into the past in a show of his power. Proclaiming that he would take over the earth, Goa dares Murakami to report his plans in the paper. Coming back to the present, Mamoru, son of Murakami, is taken by a giant named Magma to the underground of a volcano island, where he meets the creator of the earth (called "Earth"). To squash Goa's ambitions, 'Earth' creates three "rocket-men" named Magma, Mol and Gum. Magma gives Mamoru a whistle he can use to call him and the other rocket-men whenever he is in trouble, and they fight together against Goa. But Goa has already started his earth invasion project, sending creatures that can turn themselves into humanoids, called "Hitomodoki." (Source: tezukaosamu.net)

This is an adventure Manga where a Japanese sword boy travels throughout the world in pursuit of a treasure map. In 1876, Arashi Takonosuke, an envoy of the Edo Government, departs for Washington carrying a secret message concerning Japan-US trade. However, attacked by pirates in the Caribbean Sea, his boat is capsized. Takonosuke and some survivors are given half of Napoleon's treasure map from the British pastor Picar. But they are swallowed and scattered by a powerful tornado, and blown away to the Nevada Desert. In the Nevada town, a bar owner, Ham Egg finds out about this story, and searches for the owner of the map. Dai turns out to be a distant person, uncaring about other people and those who want to be his friends. He looks quite cute and gentle but he's actually unsocial and can be harsh. Jerry Morton who's very popular and well liked among the student just wants to ignore this cold Dai, but being the kind hearted (and nosy) boy that he is, he begins to approach Dai. Jerry and Marty and their other friends soon find out that indeed Dai is rather difficult to deal with, but it doesn't take long before Dai becomes their friend. However, sometimes when they feel that Dai is getting closer to them he would say or do something that shows that he doesn't really think them as his close friends. The story then begins to unfold itself. Dai's new friends start to discover the truth about the mysteries surrounding Dai. Why he's in Japan, about his family, about Ken in the States who seems to be the only one he's having personal contact with, and about his relation to a very famous game, "Sabbath Child". They discover the real Dai just like Dai discovers his true friends in life, and also himself along the way.
